stangs-R-me 120 Report post Posted November 23, 2017 I'm blown away by 16 MPG on a 428CJ ... my 351W only gets around 10 MPG !! Holley Double Pumper and 3.50 Gears do not help matters but still don't think I ever got 16 MPG's with the old Autolite 4300 on this engine. ray1970 88 Report post Posted November 24, 2017 The tri power was a time in the past on my 68 500 KR..I do have a photo somewhere.. Current 408c with FI gets about 12 mpg (Or less) @ 550HP.......... FI is 900 CFMs? Putting a 1050 domey on it today because I have to send the FI back and I sold my 750-950 holly's Hard to move if it wont run!. bigmal 225 Report post Posted November 25, 2017 I'm running a 351C 4V with 650 Holley, FMX and 3.25 diff. My first trip on the highway was yesterday over 600kms I averaged 12 of your MGP. Only 10 Australian MPG (17L/100km). About what I expected. Maybe I need to fit a bog block to save on fuel. At least that is what I can tell the Misses.
