1969 big block 429 mustang coupe

Hey all first post just thought I would share my project with you all

It is a 69 mustang coupe I've had about 2 years

So far we have done the following:

429 big block out of 71 tbird swap

C6 3spd auto (came with engine)

Exhaust with h pipe

Alum radiator

Trans cooler

Hei ignition

Big block front springs

rear traction bars

alum rims

It wasn't bad getting it in but changing spark

Plugs can be a little fun!

 

I have found that taking off the valve covers helps a lot. I also use one of those spark plug sockets with the 'nut' shape on the end. That with a box end wrench makes it easier. It's not a quick job, but still easier to change than FE plugs IMO.

Thanks! I'll try that next time, but you're right it's really not all that bad!
