mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted December 22, 2013 If it's scratched or messed up in any way, your better off just replacing it.
prayers1 153 Report post Posted December 22, 2013 I don't know what luck you guys had, but I had to order 4 of them and I'm still not happy with the fitment. If you can find a nice original one, thats the way to go.

mach1mike 10 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 depending on how deeply scratched some (originals) will sand and polish out but may take some work, always better to go with original and not re-pops, out of curiosity do you fly 60's
Alan_Mac 48 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 I agree that original is a better choice over repop. If you desire a piece that is like new, it needs to be restored by an expert. Proper chemistry is needed for a factory anodizing appearance. I recommend "King Of Trim" in SoCal, Contact: Marco Cielak for restoration.
