M12 high strength bolts in 10 positions. 6 of them are 3/16" plates that will be welded to the roll cage. 2 are "L' plates attached near the fire wall. Last the fire wall will be reinforced and attached to down bars from the fire wall to near the core support.

I guess I didn't expect you to bolt it together. 1 Footcutter11 reacted to this
Footcutter11 23 Report post Posted September 17, 2017 So it can be removed. Easier to work on. Can get the frame powder coated, and paint the body separably.
MAC390 327 Report post Posted September 17, 2017 Love the stance, real tough. How much ground clearance do you have.? 1 Footcutter11 reacted to this
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted September 17, 2017 Dang, that's low! I'm guessing they don't have speed bumps in parking lots in your neck of the woods :) 1 Footcutter11 reacted to this

It is sitting at 4 in the pictures, but the front A arms are not parallel to the ground yet. Remember, everything is tucked into the frame, so it looks slammed with ok clearance. I will need to modify the front fender for clearance, if I want to turn. I am also planning on a few skid plates.
Silver_69_Coupe 31 Report post Posted September 17, 2017 I have a little less than 2 inches of clearance on my headers and only have run across one speed bump that I cannot pass. It is the dips for rain run off the I have problems with. Looking good Footcutter.!!! 1 Footcutter11 reacted to this

Footcutter11 23 Report post Posted September 23, 2017 More fab. Need to figure out how to recess the air filter into the light bucket. Shot lines are looking good.
Footcutter11 23 Report post Posted September 24, 2017 Made a final decision on the turbos. I don't know if wheel clearance at 1/8" lock to lock is good enough. May need to go narrower on the tires. Gotta find a good air filter that I can hide in the light bucket.

Silver_69_Coupe 31 Report post Posted October 17, 2017 Looking Really Good... Just a thought. Could you open up the front of your turbo "BOX" and give it some air flow to help cool the turbos some. Probably wont make much difference. Any heat you can draw away from them will help them live longer. 1 Footcutter11 reacted to this
