Best deluxe door panels for 1969 coupe?

Recommended Posts

Would like to replace my door panels with (what used to be) deluxe-style door panels... I've been doing some research, and there are a variety of them available- what are the best choices for quality, fit, price?

Also, couldn't find any that had speaker holes, is this something that most have added themselves?

Thanks,

-Tony

I used TMI deluxe panels on my '69 Mach 1. They look great Not sure what problems mustangstofear had with the ones they did. mustangstofear does sell another brand. I have no dog in this fight. I used TMI's seat foam and seat covers also. No problems. Dave R.

mustangstofear, how many manufacturers of door panels are out there? Hundreds of places to buy them but how many makers are there? Drake is just reselling what someone else makes is my guess. Just like CJP, NPD, Year One, etc. I am not being critical of anyone. I think that most of the parts that we use in our hobby come from a limited number of makers. I have found the parts that I used that were certified as "Made with Genuine Ford Tooling" to be better fitting and quality.
