Chris'69Mach 23 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Ok, when I bought the car, I was told it had a C6 transmission and was shown it had a leak at the pan where the dipstick tube connects to the pan. So, I ordered a C6 pan, filter w/ gasket and the dipstick w/ tube. When it came in, I got back under the car and found that there is no way that I have a C6 transmission. The pan I ordered looks nothing like what is on there now. After some research, I have found out that I have a C4 (there are 11 bolts on the pan). The dipstick tube comes straight down from the engine compartment, does a slight bend down low on the transmission and then a 90* turn into the pan. Where the heck can I find that dipstick w/ tube and the pan that has the hole for the dipstick tube? I have looked at CJPony, Mustangs Unlimited, Jegs,Summit Racing and Laurel Mountain Mustang with no luck. Help Please :confused: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
