take a look at my rear suspension...

Recommended Posts

Those plates are for a stock 70 boss 302 sway bar and it is in the right position. The bushing kit goes straight up from the hole into the sway bar which goes back over the axle turns 90 degrees through a bushing mounted on the frame rail, and across in front of the fuel tank to the other side.

here is a pic of the other side.. so this car originally had a rear mounted sway bar on it? why would they take it off? will an aftermarket rear mount one fit right on?

Sway bars don't work very well in drag racing applications and make custom exhaust a little more difficult.

Looks like you have some Delalum front leaf spring bushings :)

Most aftermarket sway bars are different and won't fit those, however NPD does have a bar that fits the OEM brackets and is part number 5A772-8A. Its not exactly cheap though.
