wfridolfson 10 Report post Posted March 11, 2013 question about bump steer on my 69, it has power steering and recently had it aligned but when driving down the road and hit cracks in road it seems to want to shift one side or the other, is this normal? my 65 coupe had manual steering and seemed to be nice and and tight. all front end parts are good or have been replaced
69gmachine 15 Report post Posted March 11, 2013 Unfortunately, yes. That's why a lot of us ditch the factory steering.

wfridolfson 10 Report post Posted March 16, 2013 for those that have replaced the original steering what did you do with, power rack and pinion, manual rack? Does the manual rack turn easier than regular manual steering, I took it for a long cruise today and i have to do something soon
