Endeavour32 10 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 I know this has been covered but I couldn't really find any answers. I just received my new Foose wheels but I need to run spacers. My backspacing is 5.28 inches. They will fit in the rear but they are to far in and they hit in the front. I pretty much knew this was going t be the case but thats ok because I got a killer deal on the full set. So as far as I can tell I need to run a 3/4" spacer on these. I measure the rear and from the other lip on the rim to the inner lip on the fender I have 2".Personally I like the look when the tire is out farther. I think I would rather have the outside of the rear tire just inside of the inner fender lip. I'm running 255/45 Michelins in the rear which have a section width of 10". With that said could I run a 1.25 spacer in the back? If I end up running a studless spacer in the front have any of you had any luck finding longer studs for front disks other than the way over priced ARP studs? RPM 1,190 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 Summit has a pack of 5 ARP for $13. Even IF that was way over priced, I'd still buy them. I don't think wheel studs is a place to be frugal.
Endeavour32 10 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 When I looked into it for a extended mustang ARP studs they were $70.00. If they lowered the price to $13 then that's fine. But I think the ones you found are standard length.
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 If 3" is standard length then yes. part# arp-100-7703 & 7705. Invoice date of May 5th may be why. Bob
Endeavour32 10 Report post Posted December 27, 2012 OK- I don't know why I thought they were so expensive. Oh well- I ordered some 20mm bolt on spacers. This will take me to 4.5" backspacing.
Boogerschnot 12 Report post Posted December 29, 2012 If those are the same as the newer 05 and up wheels in backspacing you may need the 1.5 inch spacer up front because of the rub on the upper ball joint. I did. 1.25 worked well in the rear.
