mattspop 10 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 I have to replace the blower motor (no AC, Non-vent). I've got the heater box separated and the heater core out but I can't see how to get to the blower fan and motor. I've got the dash mostly apart but I don't know if I must pull the lower dash frame completely. Nasty design to not do this from engine compartment. The blower is frozen tight. Mike65 475 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 The only way that I know of to replace the blower motor is to have to remove the whole heater box to gain access to the screws that attach the blower motor to the heater box.
mattspop 10 Report post Posted April 23, 2012 Thanks for the help! I now have the heater box out of the car. According to the shop manual, I had to swing out the right side of the lower metal dash. Now I can do the work on the blower and replace all the seals and gaskets.
