Machspeed 219 Report post Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) Hey Friends, I'm soon to start a complete restoration on my 69 Mach 1. Much is in the planning stages now, but I need an auto rotisserie. I don't want to put a lot of money into this, as it will be used solely for my project and and then likely be sold. I am an accomplished welder and have the tools and potential to fabricate one. I will want to be able to move the rotisserie with car onto a trailor. I've noted some plans on ebay and on the internet. Was wondering if someone could advise on this? Thanks, John Edited March 28, 2012 by Machspeed

JTG 10 Report post Posted March 28, 2012 I looked at this too and will probably get a couple of beefy engine stands and modify them. Here are some I found online that looked good. http://home.comcast.net/~bossbill/rotisserie/ http://photos.mustangsbymike.com/Rotisserie-Plans I liked the 2nd option and was going to go that route before a friend said he has done the engine stand method and has a couple ready to go. 427Stang 23 Report post Posted March 28, 2012 I built my rotisserie from plans I purchased from ebay. Great design and strong. I have about $700 in it total. Plans were $10 if I remember.
Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted March 29, 2012 I built mine for about $650 after whipping it up in CAD. This includes 2k sealer, lift cylinders and solid rubber tires. It did kind of become its own little project. But it was just something I always wanted to do. 1 Fordrevhead reacted to this
