SSHunter69 10 Report post Posted March 24, 2012 Hey all, new to the forum and looking for a little insight on an issue I have with my 69 coupe, ever since I bought it last year (its a running project of course) I noticed that like every old car the suspension had its bumps, but now with an entire front suspension rebuild I find that on roads that arent smooth and have the slighest cracks/bumps I still find rattling from the front end. The ride was stiffened up with the rebuild, but I feel like something is loose because of the bounce and rattling still. Anything common like this happen? I know that the front bumper is loose but I feel like that shouldnt have the affect on the ride as much as is happening.? Any thoughts or suggestions? Boss302 22 Report post Posted March 25, 2012 i found some of my front quarter panels were not tighten, and in some cases i just inserted a rubber piece between the body and the panel. Also the bumper seemed to never want to get perfectly tight.
