1.Is there any way to test a pump without running it?

2.I have several pumps with different pulleys and want to know if pulley size

makes much difference?

3.What size pulley should I be looking for if pulley size matters?

You can spot test the pump, with some fluid in it place your finger over the pressure outlet and spin the pump by hand. If it is in working condition it will push fluid out pushing your finger away from the outlet.

As for pully size, a smaller pulley runs the pump faster while a large pulley will slow it down. Best to choose pulley for what your running, A sbf will use a diff one than a BB.
