236/60/15 on front of 69 Mach 1

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has run a set of 235/60/15 on the front of there mustang. I have a 69 428 car and I was wondering if this size tire will fit without any issues. I know there are some tire fitment guides out there but I was looking for some real world answers, though any help with the matter would be appreciated. These are going to be mounted on a 15X7 Magnum 500 wheel.

Thanks Swags63

Guy's,

I have a 70 fastback running a 427, 4 speed, with 215 x65x 15 Radial T/A on 15x7 prolites with 1"shelby drop, and 275 x 60 x 15 Comp t/A on 15 x 8 Prolites with standard 9" housing. The rear inside tyre rubs slightly, only with passengers onboard, fronts are fine, 235's do rub and steering is a lot harder with no P/S.
