JoeyS 12 Report post Posted April 19, 2011 On my 1970 the lockout rod that prevents the C4 transmission from shifting out of park with the ignition key removed seems too loose. Is this supposed to have some kind of bushing on it to keep it snug? Mine has a lot of play in it. It connects to a tab on the lower steering column, held in with a cotter pin.
