3906pack 10 Report post Posted March 31, 2011 Pulled out a power vent from another car and took everything I needed. So my questons to you techies are: There is a vacuum canister, mines rotted, they make repops or use an apple juice can? Do I have to remove the complete dash to get the new heater box in? Does anyone have a vacuum line diagram? Thanks....
EastYorkStang 63 Report post Posted June 6, 2018 I used a Tomato juice can. Even left the label markings on it. If you look closely you'll laugh.
MN69Grande 203 Report post Posted June 6, 2018 They have repops. I got one. It didn't line up with the holes on the inner fender. NPD wouldn't do anything about it. All I wanted was to try swapping it for another I'd even pay shipping. Whatever. I could get it installed and it works. Seen them other places too. The assembly manual has those diagrams. I can look at scanning the one for your car this weekend (out of town right now). What are the detail's of your car? There are also vacuum hose kits and those normally come with a diagram if you go that way.

69ShelbyGT350H 61 Report post Posted June 6, 2018 My cans are in fairly good shape so I used that spray on flex-seal stuff to give them a fresh rubber seal coat. I have the assembly manual and got a diagram when I purchased the new vacuum line kit.
