Paint Chop Request

Recommended Posts

Hi Pak,

I'm trying to decide on a paint scheme for the coupe. I'm looking at a split between gloss black and gun metal grey.

If you'd be so kind, I'd like to see what the coupe will look like with the top half gun metal grey and the bottom half gloss black. I'd also like to see what it would look like with those colors swapped top/bottom.

This pic shows a coupe with the black color I'm looking for. It also has wheels with the grey color that I'm looking for. Hopefully it'll be sufficient for your chopping needs.

The dividing line should be in line with the door handle. To make this a straight line, it should start at the front corner of the car and as it proceeds towards the rear, it will cover more of the side of the car. So the front fender will have very little top color, but the rear quarter will have quite a bit. Hopefully I explained that so it makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

Thats very close to what I'm looking for, only with different colors. Thanks Buddha.

If it's not much of a bother, I'm thinking of a bergundy line that separates the two colors, very similar to the white line above, but not as thick.

Pak, there's certainly no rush on this. Whenever you get time is fine. I've had this paint job in mind for months, but I just wanted to determine if it'll look as good in real life as it does in my mind. I'm hoping to be painting this summer.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this for me.
