flight96 14 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Well I just inherited a new project. I am now the proud owner of a 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII. My Mother-In-Law has had it since it was new. It's been parked for the last 5 years in her garage. It's in perfect shape. Looks like a beauty to ride in. Apparently the engines in these is similar to the 96 Cobra engines. From what I can find the differences are the crank and intake. It should be a fun car to play with. If anyone has had and experience with these please let me know what to expect ! 468stang 11 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 My neighbors had one, they got divorced and she split with the car. Never saw it again. I wanted that car bad and probably would have wound up with it if they didnt divorce.

Sidthing 10 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 I've been watching for Mark VIIIs and Navigators for a few years now, it's a cheap way to get 4v 4.6s and some of the Navigators had 4v 5.4s. The only problem is they are either beat to hell, or in like new condition. I have a feeling the 4v motors will be just as sought after as the 289 hipos, and cobra jets. If any more rounds of cash for clunkers come around it'll make even more of them scrap.
