some how i managed to get back out to the garage last night....

 

 

I hung the hood and fenders to start fitting those up..

massive gaps; but they only seem to be on the tops of the door to fender on both sides.

This is with the hood not adjusted...

Then i scrubbed the outside of the fender aprons...it was cool to see that red oxide under there

I finished up by welding up a few holes in the aprons that will not be used.

the biggest pain is going to be reuploading 450+ pictures. Do they have afeature where you can select a large mass of photos and just upload?

Can you post a link to your photobucket album like Mike's (below)? Chances are your photos are there, they're just not getting embedded in your posts right.

Some inspection and tear down

Test fit the sheet metal – I just wanted to see the project look like a car again lol

Fender gap up top is a little big, but there is still some adjustments that I can make before any welding is needed

I didn’t take any pics of it fully welded – but I did weld it up 100%

Rebuilding the hinges

Stripped the engine bay paint

Replaced the battery apron and Shaved some holes out of the aprons –

Pulled the Suspension out of the car

Rotted out oil pan – I bought one of summit’s new repop pans

Smoothing out the quarter panel plug welds

Patching the tops of the fender aprons, PO butched them out with Bondo

Smoothing out the welds after patching the cowl

Engine Assy –

Valve Spring tool on the E7 heads

Summit’s Oil pan does not line up all the way

351w Roller out of a 94 Lightning

351w EFI lower intake with the Intake adaptor

Need to smooth it out a little.

Welded bolts onto them and the screws came right out

I had to widen the rear valence panel with all the repop metal in the back
