very fat and very dumb 40 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 There is a "Bracket" that is attached to the head with 2 bolts, it has threaded hole in the center of it. I beleive the long bolt goes through the PS pump and threads into this piece. On the passenger side there is another one for the alternator, I am wondering if these parts are identical. The last portion of the part number is 336A. Thanks,
Max Power 74 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Pretty certain they are. I believe they were used in 69 only so that they could use existing 302 components on the taller deck height 351s. After 69 they made new brackets for 351 applications.
Blich123 10 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 They are different. Almost the same but the alternater bracket mount has a extended mount that the bolt screws into...I'll see if I can attach a picture.
