My Ugly Floorpan.

Recommended Posts

Black Epoxy Primer (Omni MP172)

Diamont Gray. (Custom Mix. I am a cheap a$$ and had a bunch of silver and super dark gray almost black. I mixed it all together. Wound up with 2.25 Gallons spray-able)

U-Pol Clear.

Total Materials Consumed

Primer 8 Oz Spray-able

Paint 10 Oz Spray-able

Clear 6 Oz. Spray-able

Truly it turned out pretty good. But the warping I got when I filled in the holes from removing the seat risers bugs me. On the other hand Nobody will see it when it is done and It does not affect form fit or function.

It has been a long haul. I will be at 2 Years on the project in the first week in June. I will post some picks of the other side when I have some extra time.

The other Side I promised.

The Subframe center connector is removable and will get an intergrated drive shaft loop. I will also add a front loop. Once I get everything lined up underneath.

8.8 out of a 96 Cobra. Axle is 1" wider which makes my 17" Cobra R wheels fit perfect after removing the outside rubber nubbers. They will be moved inwards and be bolt in style.

Today's Progress. Not much but it took 3 Hours to do. I got the drivers side headlight bucket sandblasted. It had 6 layers of paint on it. Not looking forward to the other side. Here are some pictures.

OK I more than made up for the 21rst today. Several Items are now ready for primer. This all took about 4.5 Hours. I ditched the blasting cabinet and headed outdoors with the pressure pot blaster. It makes a big difference when you have room to move. I have a couple of little spots to touch up bit that should take about 5 minutes prior to my primer.
