Daves69Coupe 10 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Ive been looking around a couple of the well known Mustang vendors for patch panels but im not really finding anything for 69's. Anyone know where these can be found or even if they exist?
PaleRider 12 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 I know you can buy skins. If an outside part that needs patched - can buy skin and cut out what you need.
Daves69Coupe 10 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 yea u can by an entire new skin for around 100 but I just need patches for the bottom corners of the doors. Ive seen patch panels like this for the 65-67 but not for our 69's.
Pakrat 1,043 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 I wish, that was all I needed for my passenger door after the accident was the bottom corner but I had to get the whole skin too. We have lots of folks here with various problems, maybe you can connect with someone that is repairing a different part and claim the remains of the skin for cheap. BuckeyeDemon 211 Report post Posted January 21, 2010 i don't think making the corner skin yourself would really be that big of a deal?
Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted January 21, 2010 with the two edges you can skin the corner and then only have the two butt welds and they're only $11. ;)
