Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 1969 1970 Ford Mustang or Mercury Cougar Convertible OEM Ford Interior Header Panel This goes above the windshield on the interior. The visor bracket mounts to the center. It spans to the visor/top latches. This panel had a fair share of rust inside and out but the inside was worse. It is straight and no dents though so, I sandblasted it and you can see the inside especially has pits. It could be coated with rust convertor/encapsulator/and then sealed and would hold up just fine or it could be copper plated, buffed/nickel plated/chromed. If you need one, you just cant find these things. OEM 1970 Mustang Convertible ONLY Drivers side LH Rear Quarter Extension. These will not fit a coupe or a fastback. Very good original condition, original paint only one notable scrape seen on the lower corner of the outer edge on the first picture. Even this appears like it might almost completely disappear with just sanding and primer surfacer.These are rarer than Shelby's! Very difficult to find and they are not made aftermarket! Pair of OEM Black Rear Interior Quarter Trim1969 or 1970 convertible only These are complete with the screw on stamped metal area where the quarter window, window seal and handles go and the rest is molded abs plastic (no cracks) covered with vinyl. These have both carboard backers and both of the ashtrays intact as well. Ready for reconditioning. FOMOCO #'s: C9ZB-7631112 RH & C9ZB-7631113 LH Underneath those numbers they both have N.A.P. 69-12. No clue what the NAP is but December 69 is the date code. 1970 Mustang Convertible Interior Quarter Trim Mounting BracketsI believe these are the same for a 1969 Convertible as well. Complete Set of 4 OEM Ford These are what the rear interior quarter trim mount to on the front sides, one upper one lower per side and are so often misplaced and lost during restoration. Sand blasted and ready to prime and paint. Difficult to find and reproductions are not available! 1969 1970 Mustang/Cougar Convertible Sun Visors & Brackets Fit a 1969 or 1970 Ford Mustang or Mercury Cougar Convertible ONLY Part Numbers: C9ZB-7604122-D 37792 and 37793 Visors themselves are Black and usable but they are old and dirty and there is a small thru- edge wear spot on one of them. These are both the left and right hand cast parts that the visors swing from and the convertible top latch to. These brackets are in good, original condition. There are not any cracks, missing tabs or oversized mounting holes. There is pitting as shown on the cast brackets. There is some wear in the location where the Convertible top latches on but even worn latches still held fine on these and this could be filled if desired during reconditioning. There is some moderate surface rust on the visor stem and the tension spring. Visors themselves are Black and usable but they are old and dirty and there is an edge wear spot on one of them. The original visor tips are in tact as well but again would be replaced during restoration. The mounting screws are not included. Use these brackets to complete your classic Mustang restoration. 1969-70 Mustang Convertible Top Rear Tack Strips (3 piece), used oem FOMOCO. These are what the Vert Top is stapled to. Correctly shaped, galvanized metal channel with tacking material (stapling inserts). These are from a car in storage since 1978 and the inner wheel houses were dry and not rusty top side. I carefully pulled all of the staples which were still holding very well. Unlike most, the original tacking material is completely intact and I feel will work fine again. I quickly gave the metal a very light media blasting just to clean them up. With all original used mounting hardware included as well! The repro set for a 1968 is in the $120 to $140 range. Until recently 69-70 were not available as reproduction and the ones that are, are not concours correct! These are original. Pair of 1969 1970 Mustang Convertible OEM Ford Interior Windshield Pillar Trim #C9ZB-7603598-EW RH And #C9ZB-7603599-EW LH Pulled from parts car, no cracks, no broken tabs, no oversized screw holes! Aftermarket ones are molded from black plastic and $135 a pair. OEM’s are gray plastic and died. These are from a car with black interior. Some of black is worn off due to age of the die and me wiping them to get some windshield urethane off of them. These attach to the inside of the front windshield pillars and go from the dash board up the pillar to the top of the windshield where they meet the Cast Visor mount/ Convertible top latch (I have these also, check other listings!) Paint to match any interior with vinyl paint. Rainbow Industries makes every Classic Mustang Color Vinyl Die. 1969 1970 Mustang Convertible Windshield Trim Set OEM Ford, Stainless Steel, 6 piece set. These came off of 1970 Convertible that had been in a barn since 1978! Bottom pieces are very nice (mounting clips and screws not included). Both sides are very nice as well. Top pieces are both warn from the canvas as most are. These are thick stainless, so they will buff and polish up very nicely! One mounting bracket on the back side of one of them has both its spot welds broke free as shown in picture. This is easily fixed as well. Weld bracket, buff and polish and this set will draw $300 at a swap meet. This is a complete VERY workable set for your restoration! These are very difficult to find, are usually not in this condition and are NOT available as reproduction! I also have a complete power top... see earlier post! PM offers, questions or for more pics!
