rmarks 20 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 Anyone have a picture or diagram of the correct way to install the heater hoses on a 69 351W with A/C. Which hose connects to the intake and which to the water pump? Which hose does the water control vale install in?
Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) wow, no pic for you yet? The intake hose goes to the input of the heater core (inboard) and has the control valve on a/c cars inline and the return (outboard) goes to the lower WP inlet. They make a special 90 degree hose for valve cover clearance. http://www.1969stang.com/mustang/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6864&d=1277068215 Edited July 7, 2010 by Fordrevhead correct

JTG 10 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 Sorry, no A/C and my car is just a shell now anyway. Did you try searching ebay or online ads for pics of cars for sale?
tony 63C 14 Report post Posted May 29, 2010 This thread died without any reply. Not sure if mine is correctly routed. I would also be grateful for a quick picture of the correct heater hose routing for a 1969 351W with A/C. A non-A/C equipped picture would also be very helpful. Surprisingly, the Ford shop manual for 1969 is silent on the matter. Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance, Tony
