FallujahMedic 10 Report post Posted February 1, 2009 My dad may be picking up a T-56 in a group parts buy. The question is...... It might be out of a '90 something Camaro. Will it/ can it be made to made to mate up to the 460? I know the input shaft spline most likely is different (but I;m just guessing). Anyone with info, Im desperate. Checked Wikipedia, but it wasnt very informative. Thanks guys!!

69gmachine 15 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 I'm sure it can be made to work, but half the bolt on stuff that is supposed to be for our cars/engines/drivetrain that we buy doesn't just go on without a problem! Be prepared to get creative.
FallujahMedic 10 Report post Posted February 3, 2009 Ran across this thread in my travels. http://forums.stangnet.com/774869-anyone-know-what-would-needed-use-gm-t56.html Thanks for the thread! Read it, but not much useful info for me. No PAK, my old man is picking up a '35 Ford pickup with a Chevy 350, the T56 a 31 spline 9" trac loc and some digital gauges. I tried to convince my bother into letting me trade him then T56 and him getting me a Ford T56 (apparently theyre all over virginia beach). You see he just dropped an '08 Z06 Vette motor into a '93 RX-7. He says hell send me a video of the dyno. 550hp at the wheels!!! He told me he put it sideways in 4th gear!
