Chappy 18 Report post Posted February 9, 2012 I'm not specifically looking for 69/70 cars (although it would be nice!). I've got an 04 Cobra as well. Wasn't sure if there were some 'general' car forums for the area? Thanks

Chappy 18 Report post Posted February 10, 2012 Nothing real special... 2.76 pulley, jlt CAI, catted x pipe, bassani catback, lowered, 18" FR500 Chromes. I'm a little concerned about the emissions testing once I get out there, but I hear with the stock H on the car and the tune back to stock, I should probably be ok on things. Any comments? Powershift 19 Report post Posted February 10, 2012 Beautiful Mystic! Emissions testing procedures can vary a bit depending on where you live in Calif. "Enhanced areas" have more stringent testing procedures. Most major cities (Sacramento, LA, etc) are enhanced areas. They often use a chassis dyno to replicate driving conditions during emissions testing. I don't live in an enhanced area, and my Whippled '03 (with 2 cat H-pipe) passes the sniffer test with no issue. I also have the CARB decals for the Whipple in plain site, and my car passes visual without issue too. The main risk is having 2 cats instead of the original 4. But, if you have your factory 4 cat pipe, a simple mid-pipe swap will put you into compliance for the testing. I kept my original 4 cat pipe as insurance should I get jammed up someday. Gotta love having a 600rwhp car which passes SMOG.

samwe 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2012 What brake booster is that?
Chappy 18 Report post Posted June 2, 2013 Sorry for the late response on this, haven't been on here in a really long time. The booster is a Fox Mustang 4cyl. No real major updates on the car since I've moved out to California. Been too busy to really get a lot accomplished. Every once in a while I'll get a day to work on it, so progress has been really slow.
waketek516 10 Report post Posted August 5, 2013 Can you post up some pics when you get a chance of how you hooked up that brake booster to the pedals? I'm going to be installing a 04 Mach1 Motor in mine, and was curious what boosters would fit behind the 4V 4.6 Thanks!
390mach1 49 Report post Posted August 22, 2013 Update 1/25/08 Just a couple of pictures from the past few days... Got the passenger side torque box installed. Was waiting around for the AJE stuff to come in, so I figured I might as well not completely waste a day and cut out the firewall. Test fitting the new firewall, still haven't done a final fitment/prep for welding, but getting close. Might be tomorrow or Tuesday. Chappy how did this firewall kit fit? I'm almost thinking I will be going this way instead of the way of firewall ext. (toe boards). Thanks
