Pakrat 1,043 Report post Posted January 8, 2009 That's heart wrenching for sure but hardly totalled. The value of my car is way below that one and the damage was far worse, sure it's not the pristine car you bought anymore nor will it ever be again, but it's far from beyond hope. Heck, you could practically get by just owning one fo these.
69GT 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2009 Ouch that would be painful. I hope he had some sort of shipping insurance which I don't see why you would skip on if the car cost that much. Heck, you could practically get by just owning one of these. Turn it upside down and use it as a body hammer. :thumbup1:
bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 looks like about 10-15k worth of damage, well maybe more like 20-25k if the whole car has to be repainted. the damage at the rear of the car is probably from the car behind it coming loose and tagging it, i seriously doubt the whole body was tweaked. new roof panel (maybe, this one doesn't look all that bad) some new front 'glass, new rear decklid, windshield, front bumper (maybe both bumpers) misceallaneous brackets and etc along with a paint job and it'll be good as new, hardly totalled.
