Spoiled Again! (Install Front & Rear Spoiler)

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find the location to install the rear spoiler on a non-rear spoiler car (mine). All i have found is reference to a Mustang and Fords magazine article that was published in 1999. Would anyone here have a copy and be willing to scan or take a photo and post the details?

Spoiled Again! ( Install Front & Rear Spoiler ) : Mustang & Fords, May 1999 p.42

Thanks in advance.

first get the brackets that go inside the trunk, you have to use a hole saw to make the hole to mount these, they bolt on with the trunk lid bolts, then drill the holes through the lid. this is how I was able to get the correct location because no one could tell me. good luck!

Cool! Do you have any pictures that you could post? I'd like to see what exactly you had to cut and where...and how those brackets mount. I have a pix of the brackets and see the mounting hole your talking about. Thanks! Jim

Drilling through a good trunklid? *shutters* I think it took me a month to get the balls to drill through mine for my spoiler, take your time and be careful.
