MoreHP,

I run similar sized tires (F-225/70/15 , B-275/60/15) which gives me a very neutral stance with a stock front end - no lowering. My front tires are very close to the front part of the fender well and I come close to rubbing when turning. I think if you lower it an inch or two you will need at least the 60 series up front. Maybe even the 215/60/15. The problem I see is you may get a "doorstop" (wedge) look if you go 215/60/15 and 275/60/15.

Check out this page supplied by another poster. A great way to match up tire sizes without buying.

tiresizing

For example a 215/60/15 is 25.2" tall and the 275/50/15 is 25.9". That might work as its 2" shorter that what I run (27.4" / 28")

A 215/70/15 tire is 27" tall. That may work but lowering the front it still might clip the front lip. You can roll the well but it doesn't do much for the front lip.

4.5" backspacing seems the general rule for a 255 to 275 rear tire. I don't know anything about spacers but would assume a .5" spacer with 4" backspacing would equal 4.5" total. Guys, is that right?

Since I stiffened the rear with 4.5 leaf springs and KYB shocks I've had no problems with rubbing or bottoming out with 275/60/15 tires. Here are some pictures of rear tire clearance.

Coz;

front rims 205 70 15 I can attach, but ugly or can do problematic at the curve? At the other alternative 225 60 15 does makes a continuation fall.:)

Rims back at that shape :

5,5 bc and 4 leaf,(Perhaps a back portion more fallen possible) 0,5'' spacer 5'' become same, maybe 20 mm spacer become.

coz..

nice photos... i asked about the caltracks traction bars on another site ... how is the ride and suspension with the 4 1/2 rear leaf and cal tracks?

I have a similar setup on my coupe with 4 1/2 185 rear leaf and kyb's, I was looking into the shelby under ride bars .. but I already have sub frame connectors welded in... so somebody suggested the caltracks or the maier rear leaf with the extra front support in the leaf.

The Cal-tracs rock.... Really push down on the rear as it tries to rise up. Really minimizes wheel spin unless you release at 4k or above. No wheel hop whatsoever.. If you are setting up a 1/4 miler I highly suggest the Cal-tracs.

The ride is a bit stiff but very bearable. I also have custom sub frames welded in and I like the stiffness.
