Max Power 74 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 Run a voltmeter across the battery. Charging it should be 13.8-14.2. Not charging it will read battery voltage. Anymore, I'm lazy. I buy a new regulator, and bring the alternator in and have em bench test the output at the same time. Other than that you need a wiring diagram.
