'69 Visability Group Parking light needed.

I am restoring a '69 sportsroof. It came with the visability group option. It is missing the light in the dash by the ignition switch. Anybody got one???

good luck finding one. they generally bring big bucks on Ebay, around $60 or so. i got lucky and found one from a 69 continental that works ok, it's not perfect though, the bezel is actually a little bigger than the mustang version and the locating tab is also slightly bigger so i had to modify the tab a bit, otherwise it works just fine and only cost me 5 bucks plus shipping. you might see if there is anything like that in any of the local yards around you. some late 60's/early 70's ford pickups had one that was almost identical to the mustang version as well.

Cool! Thanks for the info! I am going to put factory A/C in the car anyway. I will have to drill a new hole as the A/C dash was out of another car that did not have this option.

no problem, glad to help. i do want to not though, that the hole is the same size it's the little lcating tab that is bigger and only by a very small amount, maybe 1/16th of inch or so and the outer bezel is slightly larger as well but again only by a small amount and it still fits in the same hole if you enlarge the slot for the locating tab slightly.
