apparently it was a real boss TA car. there was a big discussion about it on the corner carvers website that i kind of breezed through last week, sorry i didn't post it over here for you guys. apparently the throttle stuck on track and by the time he got it unstuck he had missed his braking point and went off-roading on the damp grass.i don't think it is anywhere near as bad as it looks. the ta bosses had rollcage tubes running out into the engine compartment and also tied in at the shock towers with another tube on the outside of the engine bay. apparently he took out over 150 feet of armco (the metal guardrail) so compare the damage to what you think 150 feet of that stuff and the wooden poles should look like and you begin to understand just how tough those cars really are. if it had been a stock street car the engine would be sitting in the drivers lap
