Also I read the article bout changing the dash with an aftermarket. Anyone done this and modification did you have to do. Anyone make a retro one that really fits? bswor 75 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 If i remember correctly there is a special tool to get the headlight swith out. But if your not worried about damaging it you can use a flathead screw driver to unscrew it. You have to pull the knob out first and then insert the screwdriver and turn it. Someone may come along with a better explaination i hope. I purchased a dashpad off ebay that was non ford tooling and only thing i had to do was trim some of the underside to get a good fit. A little too much foam in some places such as the back corner. But it is pretty straight forward once you get in there. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
