herget's stang 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2004 i have a 70' mustang and i'm havin lots of problems with the electrical system!! i need an electrical schematic, or someone with knowledge on this subject! the problem is when the signal light is on and the break is applyed the flasher fuse blows! now the signal and hazard lights don't work! the funny thing is that when i put the wire tester on the signal wire in the steering collumn the wire tester will start flashing and the flaher unit will start clicking, but no signal lights come on! if anyone can help please email me at Brent_Herget@hotmail.com Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

herget's stang 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 yea i took the steering collumn apart and found that the hazard switch was fried...(my fault :oops: ) and two of the contact points in where the hazard switch is, were melted into the plactic casing!so i'm getting a new steering collumn harness! $200..... :shock: , hopefully after this is replaced all goes well! thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
