Londonmach1 1 Report post Posted July 11, 2024 My 1969 Mach 1 came originally with an intermittent wiper switch which has now failed - an original type replacement switch is not available. Does anyone know if the modern intermittent switch which is available will work with the original wiring? I live in England so the wipers are important both because of the weather & also needed to pass the annual safety check.
Mach1 Driver 612 Report post Posted July 12, 2024 I haven't tried it yet, but it seems so, if you believe CJ Pony: https://www.cjponyparts.com/windshield-wiper-control-module-intermittent-mustang-1969/p/WWS25/
RPM 1,269 Report post Posted July 12, 2024 I wasn't aware you could get an intermittent wiper on a 69. I bought a used one from a 70s F100 off eBay.

Londonmach1 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2024 Thanks Roger, that’s the one I was looking at but just not sure if it will work with the original intermittent wiring. Might just have to buy one & hope for the best.
Mach1 Driver 612 Report post Posted July 13, 2024 Most forums don't allow uploading of large files, so I parked several useful documents on Google Drive. Using the link below, you have free access to all the documents in this directory. Since we can't post pictures anymore here, get the "69 Mustang Wire Diagram.pdf" and see page 2-E29: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10FqYlsGT1XXr8B5TCF9WAASkU4vdPtuJ?usp=sharing
