Machspeed 219 Report post Posted February 11 Wondering if I can get some comments on a couple of trunk lids offered by NPD. Item # 40110-3A is cheaper at $205. They offer another lid, #40110-3B, at $373 but it is out of stock. The latter more expensive one is supposedly thicker metal and quoted as better fit. Thoughts and comments on one or both of these is appreciated. John
jjstang 55 Report post Posted February 12 I got the dynacorn. Happy with it. NPD doesn’t label them though.
Vicfreg 791 Report post Posted February 12 I would buy the best piece available. Cheap body parts quickly become expensive when you add bodywork time to fix them. I used an original lid if you can find one in good shape.

So is the dynacorn unit this from NPD? https://www.npdlink.com/product/trunk-lid/168163?backurl=search%2Fproducts%3Fsearch_terms%3DTrunk%2Blid%26top_parent%3D200001%26year%3D1969&year=1969
jjstang 55 Report post Posted February 12 I got mine from Johns Mustang in Houston, no shipping charges because I'm in Houston. You might need to call NPD to find out who makes their better one. Quote

Mike65 504 Report post Posted March 1 When I acquired my 69 Coupe many years ago it was missing most of the f/e sheet metal. Over the years I have bought all the stuff including the stainless trim used original Ford stuff so it should fit.
