69RavenConv 302 Report post Posted November 3, 2023 Like just about everybody, I live in an area where mice are a problem in the cold months. I fight them every year but I had a small bit of damage to my vert last winter. This year I'm upping my game but it often feels like a losing battle. But I keep fighting :)
Ridge Runner 1,153 Report post Posted November 3, 2023 They ate the oil sender wire off my 2005 mustang ,i repaired it and a month later they ate the same wire on my brothers 2005 mustang and chewed up his hood insulation ,the wire hangs low but what worries me is the light wiring is even lower and its a bundle of wires . My cars are outside but under a zip up tent carport ,i am going to set some sticky traps in there and see if i can catch the little bastard !

Mach1 Driver 596 Report post Posted November 14, 2023 My biggest deterrent was a new garage door. The old wood door sagged in the middle, so the ends were higher and the little critters got inside. Once I had the new door I used sticky traps to clear them out. No problem since.
