Gray69 5 Report post Posted August 22, 2022 What do the tabs on each side of the clock pod attach to? My car did not have any brackets for those tabs.

If you are talking about the right side dash bezel with clock hole, tabs are attached to the dash pad. You install the clock bezel to dash pad out of the car, then install the dash pad with clock bezel to dash. 1 RPM reacted to this
Gray69 5 Report post Posted August 23, 2022 Those screws were not present when i took it apart. One tab is broken. Thanks.
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted August 23, 2022 It's just a short sheet metal screw like those that secure most of the trim and dash. Half the outer part hole in one of the tabs on mine is broken, but holds it good enough. If yours is broken more than mine, maybe try some fiberglass, or some JB Weld. stangs-R-me 120 Report post Posted August 24, 2022 Those tabs were broken on most of the deluxe clock bezels I found in the 80's when I would grab '69-70 parts from junkyards and swap meets. Thinking some were broke on purpose to save having to completely remove the dash pad to service the clock the next time ... which could be frequent with the factory clock movement.
