Jayster428 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2022 I bought a reproduction 69-70 aluminum shaker and the reproduction base that bolts to the scoop but no screws were supplied. What is the thread size and diameter bolts needed. I have found any SAE screws that work. Could they be, dare I say, metric?
det0326 179 Report post Posted January 30, 2022 would not surprise me. lot of after market stuff is metric. Replaced a window regulator and the screw that held the window handle on was metric.

Vicfreg 772 Report post Posted February 2, 2022 Are these the 3 screws that attach the actual shaker scoop to the mid-plate?
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted February 3, 2022 Does the repop use the same screws as the original? Mine are a large maybe #6 or 8 Phillips head sheet metal screw. If so, I can remove one and measure it.
Vicfreg 772 Report post Posted February 3, 2022 They’re probably not, I’m out of town when I get home in a week or so I could take a picture of mine, I’m sure somebody on the forum has pictures of an original
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted February 4, 2022 Well, I remembered one thing about the screws, they are a Phillips head. They are 1/4-20×1-1/2" long. This is from an original shaker. 1 Grabber70Mach reacted to this
