69gtconv 10 Report post Posted September 17, 2021 I sold my ’69 GT S-Code Convertible a few years ago as a part of my divorce agreement (my mistake). I’m now looking for another ’69 Convertible. In the process of searching online, I find my old car listed for sale using my old photos…obvious scammers at smcclassiccars.com topclassiccarsforsale.com davidsclassiccars.com waco-tx.americanlisted.com I’m not sure which websites to trust; can y’all advise of other bogus websites? Thanks in advance.
danno 128 Report post Posted September 17, 2021 I looked at these sites, and I am guessing they are using your old car photos as clickbait. They do not really have 99% of the cars on the site, but it creates interest. You might give them a call and inquire about it. i will bet they tell you " that one is sold, but we have this other one..."
EastYorkStang 68 Report post Posted September 20, 2021 Very interesting. I’d call and inquire
lalojamesliz 56 Report post Posted September 20, 2021 Yeah that would be great! A few of us call making a cash offer at full asking price around it but only for that specific mustang. Then when the say its gone we hang up
