Upper clutch rod hole location

Converting my conv to Std from auto. Need location and size of hole thru firewall for upper clutch rod

When I did the conversion on my 1969 Mach 1 a long time ago, I kind of "eyeballed" it using the clutch rod then noticed a dimple in the firewall where is looked like the rod should pass through.  Maybe I got lucky, drilled the hole to fit the rubber boot using the dimple for the center and it worked.

As 1969_Mach1 said ...

The dimple is the spot and just measure the OD of the groove in the boot then cut the hole slightly undersize (~1/8") for a tight fit.

I'm sure someone on here has a original manual car they can measure the hole size if you want to wait for that answer.

De nada. Don't know the size hole y'all need, mine is for the hydraulic clutch master cylinder
