Midlife 814 Report post Posted March 18, 2021 It's been awfully quiet on the forum lately. We need some chatter. It looks like I bought a house here in Tucson. 4 beds, 2 bath, 3 car garage. Situated at the edge of the complex, looking out at about 20 miles of desert before a mountain range, not a building in sight. About 3 miles from the Casino. My best friend, who used to live in Panama City, moved to Tucson a year ago, and he's about 1.5 miles up the road. We used to get together once a month and swap tall tales and drink all afternoon. Looks like that's going to happen more now. Other interesting news: 1970 Mustang harnesses suddenly has become hot. Usually, I see twice as many 69's and 70's, but this year, I've done 7 70's and 2 69's. I just past 750 underdash harnesses, having started in 2008. It snowed twice in Tucson this winter, the last time last Saturday! The scenery is gorgeous: snow capped mountains just a couple miles away. As I'm typing this, a major tornado outbreak is occurring in the south, close to where I used to live. Now, I don't worry about that at all. Did everyone have Corned Beef and Cabbage tonight? Yum! 1 Mach1 Driver reacted to this

69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted March 18, 2021 I finally pulled the ancient psychedelic etched windshield out of the vert and got a new one delivered from NPD (who I'm sure could get in the Guinness book of world records for the amount of packaging they used). Waiting for a nice warm weekend to put it in -- I've got heat in the garage but being a purist and all...and spring is, um, springing here anyway. Seeing the motorcycles and classic cars coming out of hibernation. No corned beef but plenty of cabbage and potatoes.

bigmal 225 Report post Posted March 21, 2021 It's been an odd Summer down here in Oz. Very wet so I haven't done a lot of driving in the Mustang. Have some extractors for my Birthday next month That I'm looking forward to fitting. I doubt they will fit without modification due to the Right Hand Drive steering rack but that's part of the fun. The down time has given me an opportunity for a couple of my other passions, restoring antique outboards and catching snakes. A very productive few months
Midlife 814 Report post Posted March 21, 2021 What are extractors? What we call easy-outs?

I'm moving out near Casino del Sol mid-May (all in town...sort of...). Actually, Panama City Beach is the Redneck Riviera. Never heard of "Sam and Shines"... Don't send anything until the end of may when my move across town is over and done with.
