  1. Vicfreg
    Have a 351W and C-6 installed in my '70 Vert. Installed the Dakota Digital VHX speed pickup into the transmission. Installed my stock automatic shifter and.... clunk.... The shift lever arm hits the speed sensor during part of the travel. Any suggestions? I am considering maybe a Lokar top mount cable shifter, but I don't want to take the transmission out to do it.... some of the Lokar shifters have the cradle that mounts to the top....not interested in that one...

    My VHX gauge system is on the way. Any pictures/hints/lessons learned about wiring it up, where to locate and mount the interface box would be greatly appreciated. I will post my progress on my 1970 convertible project site once I get started.
