  1. Posting another minor project from my 1970 build. I obtained a set of fog (driving) lamps for a 1970 Mach 1. In spite of using a good bit of the old PB Blaster penetrating oil, one of the small studs broke off. So, a few quick steps to fix it: Sized up the stud and drilled it out from the back side It was about the size as a standard machine screw, so drilled it out a little more to the proper size, and ran a tap through the hole Dressed up the area with a abrasive wheel Used a Stainless Steel machine screw, and screwed it down tight Since the screw head is in the area where the gasket is, I just ground it down a little to flatten it out Finished product looks nearly the same as the other, original side
