Fit of Repop Quarter Window "Boomerang" Moldings?

Wanted to reach out to those that have recent experience with the reproduction quarter window moldings that are out there. I have finally exhausted my inventory of original molding and wanted to see what the 69-70 fastback community has to say about the fit of the new stuff. Anyone have any pros/cons to share? I'm hoping that someone will have some contacts or extra parts for the quarter Windows for a 69 fastback. I can't seem to locate the piece that screws to the car that helps keep the window in place. I've found the entire assembly on multiple websites for $120 for each side. All I need is this one part for each window and I'm hoping that I can find these pieces without needing to purchase the entire piece. Help!!!! I've attached pictures of the piece in looking for.

Simply: Is the 69 coupe back quarter window supposed to roll "all the way down" (so the window completely hides inside the body)? I probably should know this, but as long as I can remember, they only go down about half way, and then seem to seriously bind. It's a gradual bind - never seems to "bottom out", but both sides do it the same. Reason I ask is I've never been in there, and I am about to go in to refurbish, and I want to have the right expectations. Thanks! Jay
