Can anyone help me with the name of this part or piece and where i may be able to find a set? Sorry for the poor picture but its outlined in red. To me it seems like almost a weather strip type piece i know its not but thats the closest i can come up with.

That pretty much sums it up for the pillar post, poor quality and terrible fit. This is pretty much everything i have heard about them.

Ok im looking at adding a few afteramarket gauges ie. water/oil and volt, as i cannot accurately tell anything with the factory gauges. The question is mounting. I have not heard good things about the pillar pods. Anyone have any pics of they mounting solutions?

Fist off i read that you can just unscrew the bezel with a flat head from the front? IS this correct. Similar to the light bezel? Second do i need the special tool b/c the flat head is not working what so ever. Any advise would be of help. And if i do need the tool anyone have one they are looking to get rid of short of buying on new for $20 and using once. Thanks

RCHAPPEALER sorry to hop on this thread, but this is something i have been wanting to do for awhile. but have not yet to do due to uncertaties about the power issue. I have done a few sound systems in newer cars, but am a little scared to try on older cars, i just feel that i will run into some power issues, and killing my battery/alternator trying to figure it out. Can you shed some light on any issue you have come across with these older cars, and issues you have had. Also if i do go with it i just want a simple 10/12 in sub, and amp that is not too big. Any pics or suggestions on building a box, mounting pictures, diagrams etc. Just looking to see what some have done in case i do this.

Does anyone know how to remove the 1/4 panel ornament form the scoop? I am replacing mine but dont know how to remove just the chrome.

I just recently did my trunk with 3m rubberized spray. Not the thick bed liner type material. It came out very nice. I hit the inside quarters, over the axle area wheel wells and around the fuel tank not over in case i had to ever remove. Easy project very happy w/ results. I also did under the wheel wells which i am very pleased with. Ill try to take pics in a few days but i boxed all sides and lights in with luan cover w/ speaker box carpet so it may be kinda hard to get good photos.

Got a little problem with my trans. Auto C4. Shits fine no slippage. The issue is that i can not get it to seat in P. In fact i cannot even get it to go into P. I have to start in D and R, not that i drive in yet but for moving in and out of the garage. I took off the shifter plate to see if something was preventing it from seating into P, but found nothing. When it should be in park the little lever seats however it acts as it is reverse, and this holds true for each potion down the shift plate N is set in R and so on. Anyone got any thoughts. Additionally should it not be able to start in N, because it currently does not. Thanks

ok, here is my spare right side strip, like a said its not great quality but it does fill the gap, anyone interested?

I have a spare right side channel, its in ok condition not show quality by any stretch but if handy with polishing and sanding could be used in the mean time till you find a show quality one. I can take pictures this weekend if anyone is interested.
