Hi 'Stangers, I was wondering if anyone can confirm that there was a color change for the engine paint (air cleaner, etc) between the 1968 and 1969 model years. I see numerous references to dark Ford blue for '69, but my car was an early build from September 1968 and my 302 2v is the lighter shade of blue. Is it possible that the lighter color was from engines "left over" from the '68 model year and that it is indeed the correct color for my car? Any help is appreciated. As are references you can point me to! Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a registry of surviving '69 mustangs. I have a 69 Convertible in a rare color, and have owned it for 3 full show seasons, but have yet to see another 69 convertible, yet another 69 of any shape painted silver jade. It is easy to tell how many 69's were made, but I wonder how many survive! I am not sure what would be involved, but I think a page on here would be a neat way to have people list their cars. Please comment! -
