1. I have a Holley carb that is pooring fuel into the primaries as soon as the electric fuel pump starts causing an extreme flooded condition. I replaced the power valve and checked the float to verify it stops the fuel supply at the top limit. Fuel pressure is about 7. I first noticed this problem about a week ago when it seemed the engine was loading up at initial start but got better when it warmed up. Now it won't even start. Any ideas?
2. I also got a Randall's Rack. It bolts right in and works great. I used FPA headers with an FE big block.

4. The new repo front hood molding I have does not fit very well. The curves are wrong and I have to bend it to fit causing kinks and distortion. I suppose this repo junk is all made overseas and all the same. Do I need to find the original stuff to fit well or is there some better fitting repo stuff out there?
5. I saw the new Dakota Digital analog gauges in their booth at a car show a couple weeks back and they look very nice. They fit right in the stock dash.
6. The console is custom, made by my dad. He also made the console for his 59 Impala resto and another for a friends 70 fastback resto. He is retired and loves doing things like that.
7. Everything is the March kit (Ford FE big block). The March stuff is very nice but not cheap.
8. The 69 GT resto is mostly complete with a few details to finish. It was at its first car show last weekend.
9. The master cylinder is made by ABS Power Brake.
10. Most of the body parts are Dynacorn. Here are some more photos after paint.
11. Here is a peak at the 530 FE stroker under the hood. Still trying to decide what color to paint the Ford blue air cleaner base. CG
12. Mike, since the wheels are local you should be able to try before you buy - always a huge advantage. I was able to use a company test wheel from Bonspeed to verify fit before spending the big money and having the custom wheels made. Lucky I did because the test wheel had the wrong backspacing. Yes I am in Houston, let me know if you ever get this direction.
13. Clown car? I guess everyone has their opinions. Larger wheels look great on restomods and original wheels look great on original cars. The wheels the OP discussed just may fit with some some minor work. Here are the 10 x 20's on my clown.
14. Thanks all. The wheels are Bonspeeds, somewhat expensive but first class operation - 19" x 8" front and 20" x 10" rear. As for shaker height, the air cleaner base has already been modified, carb spacer gone, intake milled and engine as low as it can go.
15. I bought them last year and was very happy with the product. They look good and are much better than the originals.
16. It's been a while but progress is slow but steady. Here are some photos before the paint. The front of the shaker is higher than I like so trying to figure out how to lower it. Also deciding on what to do with the Ford blue air cleaner base.
17. I just bought one on Ebay. They are hard to find and not cheap. You can expect to pay around $100 for a good one.
18. MikeStang, I don't know what brand wheels you are buying but you may want to consider a custom made wheel to get the fit and look you are searching for. Depending on what you are buying, the price difference may not be as much as you think.
19. I am using 19 x 8" wheels in front with 4.75" backspacing. Tires are 245/40/19
20. Yes, those should fit a stock car. Always measure before you buy. Even better if you can get a test wheel. The car is at my brother's shop right now. Hopefully it will be sprayed soon and ready to be assembled. I hope to have it finished this summer. I'll let you know when it is back.
21. Mike, I am in the Houston area. I have the Air Ride Technologies Airbar 4 link suspension. My backspacing measurements were taken with stock suspension. The 4 link gives you more room than leaf springs but the stock wheel house was also the limiting factor.
22. I have 8 x 19" wheels on the front with 4.75" backspacing. On the rear, the backspacing with 10" wheels would have been 6.75" with the stock rear end. I wanted more dish in the wheels so I used the shorter 1965-66 rear end and ended up with 5.75" backspacing.
23. I just bought 10 x 20" Bonspeed wheels for my resto with 295/30/20 tires. It barely fits without tubbing.
