May everyone have a Merry Christmas!

Just wondering Does this steering column still use the stock turn signal switch that came in our cars?
-
My tires used to rub on my 69,until I rolled the inside wheel wells front n back. I rented a eastwood fender roller locally and did it myself after watching the Eastwood fender roller do it yourself video on You Tube. Worked great! No regrets!

Mine has the stock hydraulic roller style spider retainer tray system. First thing I will definitely work on getting my Headers and new exhaust throughout. Is 3" pipes for exhaust overkill? Then I will save for my bigger cam n bigger heads hopefully for this summer. -

More than Medium for Sure to Borderline Nasty idle. In between is nice, I want it to be Quick, Quicker the better, to get some Respect from newer muscle cars. :) . I am wanting to put in a wide ratio top loader in future, to handle power worry free. -

I currently have a 351w roller short block blueprinted and machined by Engine Factory. Nodular cast iron Crank deburred and micropolished, Shot peened hardened connecting rods with arp bolts. Federal Mogul 9.7 to 1 compression hypereutectic pistons. Chrome moly rings. Clevite bearings. Double roller timing chain. Comp cams hydraulic Roller cam. I put on a set i already had of edelbrock rpm performer heads 60cc 170cc/60cc, 1.90"int/1.60"exh, max lift .575" . I put 1.6 ford racing roller rocker arms . Trick flow chrome moly 7.750 pushrods. Eddy rpm dual plane intake, Aed holley mech 750 double pumper. Msd dizzy and 6al box. Holley 110 gph fuel pump. I just don't feel the power I want to feel.engine runs real smooth and has slight Lopey idle. But I think my heads are holding me back. My exhaust manifolds are stock. Dual exhaust 2 1/4" flowmasters. T5 tranny. I am thinking towards New bigger heads, like afr or Trick Flows . I need input and advise. Thanks -
What heads are you running on a non stroker 351w? Port and polish? Out of box? How's performance on them?
-
Ridge Runner what heads are running on your 69 351w? Is your car streetable or just for drag racing?

Thanks Rsmach1, for the info. I just read the link and appreciate the heads up on these F4TE blocks. I was not aware of it. As I was currently interested in a junkyard block I'd seen in a 1995 van. But now , nevermind.

70 Sportsroof Drum to Disc Front Upgrade
J's69Mach1 replied to ggugert's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
There's CSRP.com brakes for classic fords. I believe they use ford correct parts for their disc brake kits. -
I have front edelbrock ias shocks and new rear monroe cheaper shocks. Front feels good but rear is real bumpy.

70 Sportsroof Drum to Disc Front Upgrade
J's69Mach1 replied to ggugert's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Now with the added Horsepower to the Newer Mustangs,Better Stopping is necessary. Bigger Disc Brake Rotors and Calipers,a Bigger wheel size to accommodate that reason. Mustang Steve set ups seem practical. But there again I know you have to upgrade wheel size from stock. Decisions Decisions. -
70 Sportsroof Drum to Disc Front Upgrade
J's69Mach1 replied to ggugert's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
When I had finished with installation, I figured , I better call MPB and get replacement part info in case my parts ever go out and I need a quick replacement. The MPB tech guy told me info. Which I doubled checked info he gave me to parts, and sure enough, it was. I worked at a Auto Parts Store at the time. -
70 Sportsroof Drum to Disc Front Upgrade
J's69Mach1 replied to ggugert's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I bought the MPB for my 69 mach 351w. Front kit, consisted of CHEVY S10 calipers(which I did not like, but didn't find out after purchase):(. and uses 69 mustang front disc rotors. They supplied their own made brake hoses and brackets. The braking under high speed hestitates. My experience and own opinion. Mayb their kits have changed since 2007. -
