  1. Thanks for the reply Pak, Ya, I definately stepped in it deep. In my own defence I did order the rockers from a supplier listed as 65-70 rockers. I should have looked very closely before cutting. I was more then pissed to see on closer inspection there is a little sticker which says 65-68. Why would they advertise 65-70 if they aren't?!? I think sometimes it would be easier to ditch the rust bucket and start over but, the money has been spent and work has started. BTW, is unfrozen1969 in Ontario? Thanks, Dan
  2. Hi, I'm currently restoring a 69 convertible. I'm knee deep in the metal repair now. Problem I'm having is I've cut out the outer rockers to replace them as they were pretty tough, bent from poor jacking, rust, etc, and I can't seem to find replacements. I have a set of 68 outers here but they aren't the same. 1" too long and 1/4" too wide from the spot welds to the door seal. I also ordered the "patch panels" hoping between the originals and those I could make it work but the originals are too far gone. I'm thinking I should have saved the originals but it's too late now. My mistake and now I'm in trouble. Is there someone with a parts car who would cut out the whole rocker or is there a vendor I haven't found that has the outer? I'm quite stuck and would apreciate any help. P.S. It would need to be shipped to Ontario. Thank you, Dan
